Template B

When reviewing a restaurant like Yogurtopia I feel that some important criteria is variety of flavors, variety of toppings, how open this new restaurant is open to suggestions and criticisms from its clientele, and why frozen yogurt is a better option than ice cream . When going to create your own snack/dessert one expects different flavors for different palates. At Yogurtopia they realize this and offer many flavors ranging from blueberry to original tart to chocolate mint. This also offers the client to return to the restaurant for the curiosity to try new things every visit. Another very important aspect of variety is the variety of toppings a restaurant like Yogurtopia offers. A customer wants to feel free to make their own combinations with no limitations. They want healthy options, like fruit, but they also want some chocolate chips and cheesecake bites to satisfy the sweet tooth. The combination of a variety of flavors and toppings guarantee the clientele a new experience every time they walk in though the door. Considering this establishment opened recently a big criteria to review is how open they are to suggestions. Their customers mostly consist of students and thus they should take their opinions and change things accordingly to keep up with the trends. For example, there is a similar restaurant near Yogurtopia called IKiwi who serves the same things, but charges .42 cents per ounce while Yogurtopia charges .44 cents. They might want to match the price to keep the students, who tend to live on a budget, coming back. If they ask every client what flavors they liked or disliked after sampling, they might get a better idea of flavors they should keep and what flavors they might want to replace with new ones. Being open to these criticisms and suggestions will let the restaurant grow and succeed. Yogurtopia also has decorated their establishment with a section telling it's customers the health benefits of eating a frozen yogurt treat rather than ice cream. With that they also explain what yogurt really is and how it is processed and how they way it is prepared affects your body.

Audience Template

The audience for my review on Yogurtopia in a general sense is the UCF students in the area. Yogurtopia is a relatively new concept, similar to that of IKiwi’s, where you get to choose your frozen yogurt and anything that goes on top of it. The customers here are valuing variety, cost, and quality. The buffet of toppings includes all types of fruits, chocolate bar pieces, syrups, all types of nuts and other random toppings such as chunks of cheesecake. The cost is reasonable and set at .44 cents an ounce giving the customer power over what they wish to pay. The quality is outstanding! The yogurt tastes refreshing and smooth as you indulge in it. The location is perfect because it is right across the street from UCF and has a very modern decorative theme. There are tables inside and out so no matter the preference of weather the customer will be satisfied. Yogurtopia also offers great music to listen to while talking with friends; they also have a big flat screen TV up showing different types of combinations you can make with your yogurt choices. The customer service is at an optimum level; since Yogurtopia recently opened they are open to all criticisms and truly will listen to any suggestions. The best part of the whole experience is that the customer will know what they are getting before they pay; this is guaranteed by the samples! These aren’t your regular tiny spoon, have to ask for every single flavor and anger the employee samples, this is get your own tiny cup and serve yourself whatever flavor catches your attention sample. The flavors are changed every once in awhile so you might catch a new flavor to try every time you visit. The flavors range from fruits (blueberry, strawberry banana, coconut) to chocolate mint, original tart and even my not so favorite taro which is a purple potato. Friends can come have a great dessert and just talk away to enjoy an evening out. To catch up, or just relax after a day of studying Yogurtopia offers a nice setting to be a part of. Customers attending Yogurtopia need to know that the place is fairly new and if something is unappealing one should definitely talk to management about it. They are very grateful for constructive criticisms. Since most customers are students they should also know that Yogurtopia is advertising a lot on the UCF campus by giving buy one get one free coupons all the time. They also have coupons in the Savings books that are usually found inside an edition of the Central Florida Future, or in student’s mailboxes if they live in student affiliated housing.
